Happy Tuesday!

I hope you had a great 3 day weekend!

Math Study Guide
The chapter 5 math study guide is going home today.  Remember that I don't collect these for a grade, but they are a great way to review at home before the test.  The math test will be Wednesday, January 30th.

Division Cards
I will be sending home division flash cards very soon--this week or next.  These will be just like the multiplication flashcards--practice at night and sign the line on top of their reading log.  When they are ready to quiz, just send them back in.  If they pass, I will send the next baggie home.  Every 4 quizzes, they earn a brag tag.  One thing is harder this time--instead of passing each number (ex-all the x2 cards), the cards are scrambled up.  There will be a parent letter sent home with the first baggie of cards.  Thanks in advance for your help at home!

Spelling Test
The spelling test for the next set of 12 Superkids memory words will be this Thursday.  There is a new spelling test format for the second semester unit.  Only the 12 memory words will be tested, the pattern words are words that can be practiced at home for reading fluency, but will no longer be tested.  There is a letter explaining this in folders today. Make sure to flip over to the back side for homework practice

Blessing Shelf
We have a school pantry at our front entrance now!!  This is open to all families, students and staff. It is free.  If you need something take it!

Google Classroom Scavenger Hunt
In folders today there is a google classroom scavenger hunt paper.  This is a practice for home to make sure that all students know how to access google classroom at home and can navigate through it.  Any student who completes the scavenger hunt and returns the paper to school by Thursday will get their name put in a drawing to have lunch bunch with me on Friday!

Bingo For Books
It is almost time for our second BINGO for Books event.  It will be on Wednesday, January 30 from 5:30-7. This is such a fun event for our families and it is totally FREE.  A reservation form will be sent home soon.
