Reminder from Dr. Heiden about the field trip Thursday-- Remember to be clear with chaperones who are meeting us at the venue that they still need to practice social distancing as best they can and wear masks so they don't accidentally quarantine students if they are asymptomatic positive. Also, all chaperones have to have a background check done and approved before they can volunteer.
Only 6 school days left of 2nd grade after today! Can you believe how fast this school year has gone?!
Zoo--
Please have students wear comfy clothes and shoes, hats and/or sunglasses. Bring a sack lunch!
Field Day--
Please have students wear their yellow field day shirt (will be sent home Thursday), shorts, hats, sunglasses, comfy shoes. They can bring and/or wear sunscreen and will need a water bottle.
Zoo field trip
Don't forget about our zoo field trip on May 20th! All students will need to bring a sack lunch on the 20th. Due to COVID regulations, staff and students will ride the bus, and chaperones will have to drive themselves and meet us at the zoo. If you know other parents attending you may want to carpool, as the zoo will charge for parking even though it's a field trip. We will arrive at the zoo that day at 9am, and leave around 1pm. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Don't forget tomorrow is Early Release Day! That means dismissal will start at 1:40.

- Due to NWEA Monday and Tuesday, we are not starting the wonders unit until Wednesday. Therefore, there will NOT be a spelling test this Friday. We will continue this unit next week and the last spelling test of the year will be next WEDNESDAY! (May 19)
