Tomorrow is the last day of 2nd grade!!

**We had a blast at field day today!  Be sure to check out our class Facebook page for all the pictures I took today.  We are hot and sweaty--I bet bedtime won't be a problem tonight!!

**Tomorrow is the last day of 2nd grade!  Please make sure your child brings their book bag!  We will be bringing a LOT of stuff home--including NWEA spring reports and REPORT CARDS!

**Thank you for an awesome year!  Have a great summer!!

**Tomorrow is a regular school day.  There is no early dismissal.  Dismissal will start at 2:20.

Schedule addition: This Wednesday is a Dance Day at Creekside. So all classes have PE that day at the normal time in the gym! Please have your kids wear athletic clothing and shoes to school tomorrow!

Please send all library books back!  If you did not return your library books yesterday, please send to school as soon as possible so your child can return them to the library.

Zoo Field Trip 

Right now, we are planning on going to the zoo, rain or shine.  Unless the weather forecast takes a big turn for the worst.  Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the weather, including raincoat or umbrella!  I'll let you know as soon as I know if something changes for Thursday.

Don't forget to keep sending in field day shirt forms!  Every student will get a t-shirt from PTO to wear on field day, I just need to know their size!  Forms are due by Thursday!

Don't forget the mile run on Thursday!  Please have your child wear comfy clothes and TENNIS SHOES!

Creekside Field Day is a Blast!

Volunteers are needed for our Field Day on Tuesday, May 28th. It takes about 100 volunteers to make Field Day a success. Each adult will be assigned a station for certain times. Background checks MUST be completed prior to working at Field Day.

• The next spelling test will be WEDNESDAY, 5/15.  This will be the LAST spelling test of the year!  We will do 1 more Superkids unit, but won't test over it.

• using "because" as a connector word in sentences

High Ability
