It's almost May!

Zoo field trip

Don't forget about our zoo field trip on May 20th!  Keep those permission slips coming in! Due to COVID regulations, staff and students will ride the bus, and chaperones will have to drive themselves and meet us at the zoo.  We will arrive at the zoo that day at 9am, and leave around 1pm.  Permission slips are due April 30th.  If you have any questions, please let me know!

Field day/shirts

More great news!  We are having a simplified field day this year to celebrate the end of the year!  It will be on Friday, May 21st.  Stations will be run by school staff members instead of parent volunteers this year.  In your child's folder today, there is a bright yellow half sheet of paper.  Please fill out your child's shirt size, donate $5 if you can, and return to school asap.  All students will get a shirt to wear on field day.  Thanks PTO!

Don't forget tomorrow is Early Release Day!  That means dismissal will start at 1:40.

• April is National Poetry Month! We will be reading and writing lots of poems the next couple of weeks. At the end of the month, we will be bringing home a book of poetry that we wrote!

High Ability

Math

Here is what we are working on in math this week:

April Snow?!

Free Book Fun

We have a fun, free, and quick event at Creekside this Thursday, April 22nd between 4-6 PM.

Drive up to Creekside along our front curb and your child can choose a free book to take home. Your child(ren) can jump out curbside, choose a book, and then you are on your way! 

So, come by Creekside anytime this Thursday between 4-6 PM to grab free book(s)!

Zoo field trip
