Early Release
Don't forget tomorrow is Wednesday!  That means Early Release day!  Dismissal will start at 1:40

Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is almost here!  We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day together in class on Friday, February 12th.  We will have a small party where we open cards, have a snack and craft, and play a game.  I will ask for donations for those activities when we get closer to the date.  We strongly encourage all students to bring in cards for the entire class.  The list with names will be in folders this week. We will make Valentine bags in class so that students can pass out their cards before the party, and everyone can open their bag in class.  You can send cards in whenever you have them done, or no later than the morning of February 12, so students can have time to pass them out before the party.

Happy 4 day week!

Early Release Days are coming back!

Early release Wednesdays are coming back starting NEXT WEEK! Starting January 27th, every Wednesday, Creekside will dismiss at 1:40, instead of 2:20, so teachers can have our collaboration and planning meetings with our departments. M, T, TH, F will remain 2:20 dismissal. If your child will have a transportation change on Wednesdays due to early release, please let me know. Read below for more information from the district.

As the K-6 buildings have been fortunate enough to participate in in-person learning, five days per week, since the start of the school year, they have maintained some feeling of normalcy.  As we return to the early release schedule, this allows teachers the much-needed opportunity to collaborate, share expertise, and analyze student data that is used to improve classroom instruction.
