Thanksgiving Mini-Feast
Each year Kindergarten celebrates Thanksgiving by having a mini-feast together in the cafeteria. Be on the lookout in your child's folder THIS WEEK for information on when the feast will take place, what the children will need to bring in, and how you can help!
Creekside DQ Night
Don't forget you can Dine to Donate to Creekside's PTO at Dairy Queen tonight. From 5:00-8:00pm a portion of all sales will go to help Creekside purchase a Creekside Cougar mascot! No flyer necessary, just show up! Who can say no to ice cream?!
Muffins with Mom
I hope to see many of you tomorrow morning in the Creekside gym for our second annual Muffins with Mom. Moms of K-2 students can come enjoy muffins, juice and coffee with your little ones from 7:00-7:30 am.
Superkids
Today we finished working in our Lily workbook. Be on the lookout for that to come home later this week. Tomorrow we will do our Read Aloud lesson and Thursday will be our non-fiction Super Smart lesson. Friday we meet the next Superkid! I wonder who it will be?!
Math
Here are the things we are working on this week in math:
- probability--things that are certain, maybe, and impossible
- number card games--putting cards in order, recognizing numbers, naming the number before and after
- probability trays
- introducing a new game called stick pick up--also working on probability
- leveling a pan balance
