Math
Check out our pictures from yesterday in math! We made 3-D shapes out of pipe cleaners and straws! Look at all that cooperative learning happening! Makes me very happy! We are going to practice making 3-D shapes Thursday with our parent helper using marshmallows and toothpicks!
Mrs. Vidal
Mrs. Vidal came yesterday afternoon for our monthly guidance lesson with her. This month the topic was careers. Ask your child what career they want to have when they grow up!

This morning Addison from Miss Records' class came to read If You Give a Pig a Pancake to us! Addison earned this reward by earning 50+ Reading Counts points! We were very good listeners, and Addison did a great job reading!

Xtra Math
Don't forget to sign your child up for the free Xtra Math online account at home and start practicing addition! When they "master" all the addition facts, the program will automatically bump them up to subtraction. We started using this program today and they LOVED it! I set up one computer and they have been taking turns all day going over and playing. Great practice!
Science Night
Don't forget about the free dinner/Children's Museum Science night at Creekside tomorrow! 5:30-8pm.
Guest Day
Don't forget about Guest Day--next Wednesday, March 23rd! Guest day will be from 1:15-2:15. I have a couple people who haven't returned the paper yet telling me if your child will have a guest or not. If you haven't. please let me know! If no one can attend for your child, I need to know so I can ask another parent to pair up with them that day. Also, if your child will be leaving as a car rider with their guest (if that's not their normal pm transportation) please write me a note next Wednesday giving your permission for that to happen. Thanks!
