End of a fun week!

R.E.D. folders
I've noticed lately that some RED reading folders are coming back unsigned.  Don't forget to read the book during the week, complete the worksheet, and SIGN the reading log.  These come home on Tuesdays, and are due back by Friday.

play permission slip/money
I have just a handful of kiddos that haven't returned their permission slip and $2 to go to the Junie B. Jones play on Monday the 13th.  These are due on Monday the 6th!  Remember on the 13th, your child will need to bring a sack lunch to school.

National School Breakfast Week
National School Breakfast Week is March 6-10.  Once again we will be offering a free breakfast to all students.  Our free breakfast is Tuesday, March 7 We will be serving pancakes!!  They can choose a cereal if they don't want the pancakes.  Obviously, your child doesn't have to eat breakfast at school this day if they don't want to, but this free event will be open to all!

Donuts with Dad

Creekside is holding Donuts with Dad events on Wednesday, March 8th and on Friday, March 10th. These events are free. Because we believe turn-out will be huge, we have two events:
·  K-2 students with dads - Wednesday, March 8th from 7:00-7:30 AM
·  3-4 students with dads - Friday, March 10th from 7:00-7:30 AM
Both mornings will be in our gym.  We ask that dads try to attend the event that corresponds with their child's current grade level. However, dads that have children in more than one grade can choose the event that works the best for their schedule and attend one event with their children. Also, if one event works better than the other, dads can attend either event with their son or daughter.  The menu will be donuts and fruit along with fruit juice and coffee.

Children's Museum Science night
This amazing FREE event for our students and families is upcoming on Wednesday, March 15th from 5:30-8:00 PM. The program this year as voted and selected by our students and families is Beyond Spaceship Earth: Learn about life in space and discover what it is like on the International Space Station. Work with robotics and circuitry to solve challenges, all while experiencing a little bit of outer space here on Earth, after a free pizza dinner!

Superkids
Today we had our Super Smart lesson for unit 4 of The Superkids' Club.  It's going by so quickly!  Our Super Smart today was about the 5 Senses.  Ask your child to show you their mini book tonight and tell you what they learned about today!  Monday we will start unit 5--P!  I wonder who the next Supernoodle will be?!

Have a great weekend!
