TGIF!

Final Reminder--Online Registration!
Oh no! Have you not done this step yet? If your answer to this is yes, then you need to complete it right away to avoid a delay in your child being placed into a class next year at Creekside!!!!
If you already did this, then great job and sorry to keep bothering you!
Incoming kindergarten students do not need to have this process done if you have already registered your child at Kindergarten Registration or through our school office.
STEP 1: You can use: the Powerschool Parent mobile app OR the FCS website A+ Grades NOTE - If you do not have an account, click on the A+ Grades icon at www.franklinschools.org Follow the instructions for creating a Parent Access Account on the Online Registrations page found under the PARENTS tab. You will need your child's Access ID/password, please contact your child's school for this information. STEP 2: After logging in to the Parent Portal in PowerSchool you will see an icon in the left tool bar titled Returning Student Registration. If you do not have access to the internet, please visit Franklin Community Middle School on Wednesday, April 19 (7:30 am - 11:30 am,) or Thursday, April 20 (2:00 pm - 6:00 pm) for assistance.

Book Fair
Book Fair starts next week, and students can shop during library time.   If a student brings money on a different day, they can go dow non their own in the mornings.  Family Night is Thursday, May 18th from 4:00-6:30

FC field trip
On Tuesday, May 23, we will be doing to Franklin College and the public library.  We don't need chaperones for this day.  All students will need to wear their FC painted shirt (I will send home on the 22nd), bring a sack lunch, and dress weather appropriate to be outside most of the day.

Kindergarten Awards Day
For those who like to plan ahead, Kindergarten Awards day is scheduled for Thursday, May 25, from 12:45-2pm.  Kindergarten students are all asked to dress up like their favorite Superkid on this day!  Look through the online portal or the Superkids books sent home to get ideas.  Start planning now!  We will have a Superkids parade through the school that morning.  Then at 1pm, we will start our program in the gym.  It is important that all students have someone to celebrate with them on this day!  We will begin with a video slideshow of our year, then all 4 Kdg. classes will sing our favorite Superkids songs, then each child will be called to the stage to receive their Kindergarten diploma from Dr. Heiden.  Finally, we will return to the classroom so students can share their portfolio with your and receive other special awards.  Please have someone plan to attend on this day!

Have a great weekend!
