We will be roller skating during PE after the holidays-January 14th-February 11. We will sending home permission slips soon. I would like for slips turned in by December 14th. This allows us time to get money and skate sizes organized.

Field Trip
Don't forget we are going to the Children's Museum on Tuesday, December 11. I am still missing about 9 permission slips. Please get those in ASAP. Let me know if you need another copy. I have 6 chaperones currently, but would love to have some more! Please consider joining us! All students and chaperones need to bring a sack lunch on the 11th.
Santa Projects
Don't forget to keep sending in the new suit for Santa project! I would like to have all those in by Friday so we can do the writing project early next week. The ones I have so far are very fun!
Spirit Wear
Today is the final day to order Creekside and Franklin Spirit Wear! Order by 11:59 PM tonight!!!!
Creekside PTO's online Spirit Wear store is open for business and the link is below! There are both Creekside and Franklin items available, as well as some "BLING" items for those of you wanting to add a little sparkle to your wardrobe. This is an ONLINE SALE ONLY and the store will be open until Nov. 27 at 11:59pm. All items will be sent home with your child BEFORE Christmas break (Dec 12-14, watch for email) so if you'd like to order items as gifts, you will have them in time for Christmas. There are 3 options for delivery of your items:
1) FREE- Fill in your child's name and select their teacher so items can be sent home with your child.
2) FREE- If you want to give items as a gift- select GIFT under the teacher section. Items will be left in the office at Creekside and you can pick them up at your convenience during regular office hours M-F 7:10-3:15.
3) Ship items directly to your home (shipping fees apply).

Holidays Around the World
Starting Thursday, we are going to be doing a special writing/social studies unit. For 15 days, we will "travel" to a different country, and learn how children in that country celebrate Christmas. We will do a power point, story, writing journal, and craft for each day/country. Students will bring home all their research before Christmas break. Here are the 2 countries we are doing this week:
