The January book order was sent home Monday.  If you are interested in adding to your classroom library, these orders are due back by January 24th.  You can also order online!

Early Release Don't forget tomorrow is Wednesday!  That means Early Release day!  Dismissal will start at 1:40 Math Here is what we are working on in math this week: multiplication facts fractions doubling facts helper facts Spelling Test The spelling test for the next set of 12 Superkids memory words will be this Friday.  There is a new spelling test format for the second semester unit.  Only the 12 memory words will be tested, the pattern words are words that can be practiced at home for reading fluency, but will no longer be tested.  There was a letter explaining this in folders yesterday.  Superkids Here is what we are working on in Superkids this week: words ending in -ff, -ll, or -ss memory words: helpful, painful, wonderful, cheerful, joyful, truthful, useful, playful, careful, hopeful, awful, thankful nouns and verbs comprehension Suffixes: -able, -ible punctuation Super Magazine--Color Crazy The end of unit test was yesterday.  I will get those graded and sent home asap.  We started the second semester Superkids curriculum Monday: The Superkids Take Off. This week we are taking the pre-tests over writing, grammar, connections, and vocab.  We will start the lessons on Tuesday.
