Happy March!

Can you believe it's already March 1st?!  The 9 weeks ends this Friday.  3/4 of the way through 2nd grade already!

Read Across America Day

Tomorrow is Read Across America Day!  We talked in class today about wearing a t-shirt or dressing up as their favorite book character tomorrow.  I told them they could, but NOT to go home and tell you to go out and buy things tonight!  I, for example, have a Harry Potter shirt to wear.  If they have character shirts, they can wear them, or use things from around the house to dress up as their favorite character (Cat in the Hat, Fancy Nancy, Thing 1, etc.).  This is completely optional, and only if your child wants to.  We will be doing some fun activities tomorrow morning in class as well.

You may order and pay online at www.inter-state.com/order and use code 63957P. Yearbooks are $15 each and have covers designed by our 4th grade yearbook cover contest winners! Place your order soon so your child can keep a memento of his/her school year here at Creekside.
