On Thursday, March 10th, Creekside is celebrating National School Breakfast Week. Your child may eat school breakfast for free! The breakfast is mini cinnamon rolls, juice, fruit and milk. I need to know how many students will eat breakfast that day by Tuesday. You can either send in a note or email me if you want your child to have the free breakfast on Thursday. If your child eats a school breakfast everyday, you do not need to reply.
Spelling Bee
This afternoon we went to the annual Creekside spelling bee! Congrats to all the 3rd and 4th grade spellers, and especially to the winner and runner up! The class was very impressed that the "big kids" could get up in front of all those people and spell! Many of them said they would be too nervous to do it, but a couple did tell me that they couldn't wait to try it!
Field trip---MONDAY!!
Don't forget--our field trip to the Children's Museum is MONDAY! There is a yellow paper in folders today with all the info you need. I am also sending home dinosaur t-shirts that students need to wear on Monday. In short, remember 3 things:
1. wear dinosaur t-shirt
2. wear tennis shoes
3. bring a sack lunch
