Happy Monday!

Franklin Mini
If your child participated in the Franklin Mini on Friday at Needham, Mrs. Leonard would like to take a group photo tomorrow!  If they got a ribbon or trophy, please send it to school tomorrow to be in the photo.  Creekside got the Golden Shoe again this year for having the most participation!  Way to go!

Homework
Remember, there is no homework this week or next!  Enjoy the last 12 days of school homework free! :)  Hopefully the rain moves out of here and we can enjoy those homework free nights outside! Keep reading and working on sight words at home.  

Sight Words
Speaking of sight words, our sight words this week are: purple, pink, white, brown, black.  Please add these to your practice at home!

Important Dates

  Thursday, May 19 is Awards day!  Please plan on having someone  attend for your child.  The program will run from 12:30-2.  We will be singing songs, receiving diplomas and other special awards, looking at our portfolios, and watching our year end slideshow.  Please go straight to the gym on Thursday when you arrive at school.  The students have talked about dressing up as their favorite Superkid for the program.  Look through the online portal or books sent home for ideas.  We will be having a Superkids Graduation parade Thursday morning in front of the whole school, so it’s important all are dressed as Superkids!

    Friday, May 20 is our Franklin College Field trip.  Your child will need to wear clothes weather appropriate to be outside, tennis shoes, and their Franklin College t-shirt that we painted.  They will need to bring a sack lunch to school.

   Monday, May 23 is field day.  Our class will be playing a        lot  of  fun games together, and having a picnic outside.          Please have your child wear comfy clothes and tennis            shoes.  They may also bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a    hat since we will be outside all day.  They may bring a            water bottle as well.

   Tuesday, May 24 is the last day of Kindergarten!  Please      make sure your child brings their book bag—they will take     A LOT of things home!
