Each year Kindergarten celebrates Thanksgiving by having a mini-feast together in the cafeteria. Be on the lookout in your child's folder TODAY AND TOMORROW for information on when the feast will take place, what the children will need to bring in, and how you can help!
Muffins with Mom
I hope to see many of you this Wednesday morning in the Creekside gym for our second annual Muffins with Mom. Moms of K-2 students can come enjoy muffins, juice and coffee with your little ones from 7:00-7:30 am.
Superkids
Friday we finished working in our Lily workbook. Be on the lookout for that to come home later this week. Today we did our Read Aloud lesson and tomorrow will be our non-fiction Super Smart lesson. Wednesday we meet the next Superkid! I wonder who it will be?!
Turkey Homework
Thanks to everyone who sent in the VERY creative turkeys! I'm still missing a few, so please finish those up tonight and send them in tomorrow! I'll post a picture on Facebook and the blog when they are all hanging up! I am very impressed with the creative turkeys so far! Hope you had fun!
New Friend
Today a new friend joined our classroom. The boys and girls did a great job welcoming her, and making her feel like part of our family. Welcome Keyonna!
November book order
The November book order is in folders today. Remember, there is no pressure to order. It's a great, inexpensive way to add to your child's home library. Be on the lookout soon for a special SANTA book order form to come home--please keep this a surprise from your child! Each parent is asked to order a book for Santa to give your child at our holiday party in December.
Thanksgiving Break
Just a reminder that Thanksgiving break is Wednesday, November 23rd-Sunday, November 27th. We will not have school the 23rd, 24th, or 25th.
