Happy Fall!

College Go Week

This week Creekside will be celebrating College Go Week! The purpose of the week is to promote an atmosphere that gets students thinking about their futures in a fun, positive way! We will be talking about lots of careers and the different types of education needed for different jobs. We will make this a fun week at Creekside with Career Trivia each day and a College Mascot Scavenger Hunt! We will end the week by wearing our favorite College Colors!  Don't forget to let your child wear their favorite college gear on Friday!

Scholastic Book Order

Don't forget that this month's orders are due Friday, September 25th.  There is never any pressure to order, but it's a great way to add to your child's home library if you do choose to order.  Any books purchased by families can also give points to our classroom that I can use to buy books and materials for our classroom! You can also order online. If you have any questions about this please let me know.

Counselor Lessons

Today Mrs. Hasser came in for the first of her monthly guidance lessons. She will be in once a month to help teach us life skills. She is sending home an activity sheet after each lesson. If you complete the activity at home and sign and return to school--she will give the students a prize!

Writing
