BRRR! I hope you are all surviving the cold, snowy weather! How many more days until Spring?!
NWEA
NWEA reports went home Monday! Please look these over and let me know if you have questions or concerns.
Report Cards
Report Cards also came home Monday! Please look these over with your child. Celebrate the successes, and make a plan to work on the areas of need. Let me know if you need help or have questions! Today your child is bringing home their Mathematics at Home books for the 3rd 9 weeks. Please keep these in a safe place at home! Inside the books you will find a lot of quick, easy, fun ideas to practice the math concepts we are working on in class at home!
January book order
The January book order went home yesterday. No pressure to order, but if you would like to order to add to your home library, orders are due by Friday, January 29th!
Sight Words
The sight words for this week are: they, you, of. Please add these to your practice lists at home! Since next week is a short week, we will not add new words, it will be a review week instead.
High Ability Testing for First Grade
A letter from Dr. Heiden giving information about the screening all kindergarten students will take at the end of the month went home last week. Please let me know if you have any questions after reading the letter. We will take the practice test next week, and the test the week of the 25th.
Homework
Your child should be working this week on their 100th day collection for math. This was the only math assignment for the week and is due Friday.
Have a great rest of the week!
