Yearbook Orders
Don't forget our school yearbooks are on sale!  You can send a check to school made out to Inter-State Studios for $15. Yearbooks can also be ordered online at https://inter-state.com/Yearbook and use the order code 04564CG. Yearbook orders are due by January 29th.

NWEA
NWEA results will come home Monday.  You will see your child's score from the winter testing we took before break for Reading and Math as well as their Fall score so that you can compare the two.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

DIBELS
Middle of the year DIBELS testing began this week.  Our class was pulled out to Mrs. McCullough's room yesterday and we are finished!  I haven't had a chance to look at all the results yet, but she said overall our class did a great job.  Students were tested on letter naming, first sounds in words, all sounds in words, and nonsense word fluency.  Each test is a timed test and students have one minute to complete as many as possible.  Results will be sent home as soon as the testing window closes.  

100th Day of School

Assuming we will not be using MLK Jr. Day as our make-up day from the day we missed before break (you will find out as soon as this date is determined), our 100th Day of School will be Friday, January 22.  During this day we will celebrate 100 days of learning by integrating special literacy and math centers that center around the number 100!  We will also have a special 100-piece trail mix snack ).  And don't forget....if your child is able to count for me to 100 on or before this day, he/she will be invited to a special pizza party for all kindergartners who met this important goal. Everyone in our class already has met this goal!  WOO HOO!

Timelines

The timelines look great hanging up in the hallway!  The boys and girls were very excited to show off their pictures this morning during literacy centers.  I know a few told me they forgot them at home, so I left space for them on the wall!  If you didn't send yours in today, please send it in on Monday!

The Polar Express
